The perfect cover-up: fall winter 2015 trends

Posted on November 7, 2015

Winter’s almost here and we need a perfect cover-up for the cold and foggy days of November. And if you’re looking for new ideas, the fall winter 2015 trends include a lot of good options.

The essentials for fall-winter 2015/16 include something old, something new and something borrowed. It’s going to be a long story-short article about what key pieces you could buy if you’re looking for new stuff.

1. New Denim – basic denim reinterpreted in different shades (like neutral brown or beige) & shapes – this season, the legs for pants are getting wider and wider.
2. The Rollneck & Knitwear -well, this is something old but the 70s influence of this year’s fashion. You can wear it under a shirt.
3. The perfect cover-up – well, I like to call this “something borrowed” because it includes something that gives you personality. Like a jacket or a loooong scarf that brings us back to that Lenny Kravitz image that’s been everywhere on the internet a few months ago.

I chose some brown pants from ASOS, my vintage leather jacket that I got in Camden Town, London, a dark beige turtleneck from New Look and the long scarf from United Colors of Benetton that I got from as part of their campaign of trying to identify the trend that matches my style the most – they asked to fill out a quiz and at the end, their stilists decided that I need a long long scarf – I’ve been having some health issues, especially with my throat so it came like a match.

So cover up! πŸ™‚
